Helmi Som
Helmi is a seasoned Project Manager and Chartered Professional Engineer (MIEAust CPEng NER) with over 20 years of experience in successfully managing complex construction projects in Australia and Asia. His local expertise includes local government sports ovals and facilities, carparks, tram infrastructure and operational depot facilities, road upgrades, and sewerage rehabilitation projects.
Furthermore, Helmi has extensive international experience, having spent over a decade in Singapore and Indonesia managing new rail station builds, tunnelling, oil, chemical and gas greenfield and brown field terminal and marine jetty projects a Construction Manager.
Outside of work, Helmi enjoys contributing to his community and spending quality time with his family, including his three growing children. He is a responsible and caring parent who loves to attend his children’s sports events and family gatherings on weekends.
