Project Summary

Touch Projects is managing various minor projects across Ballarat’s sporting reserves, including upgrades, installations, and refurbishments.

…what we’re doing on this project

Touch Projects has been awarded the comprehensive project management role for the City of Ballarat’s Sport & Recreation Minor Projects Delivery initiative. This encompasses overseeing design, stakeholder interactions, and construction management across various project sites.

At Burrumbeet Cricket Club, Touch Projects will execute minor improvements to the existing cricket training nets and construct a modular building for social purposes. This involves detailed design, procurement, contractor management, and delivery oversight.

The installation of outdoor gym equipment at Doug Dean and Russell Square falls under Touch Projects’ purview, requiring procurement and fixed equipment installation at selected locations within the reserves.

Electronic scoreboards will be added to Mt Clear and Learmonth Recreation Reserves, involving quote assessments, contractor coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

Touch Projects will refurbish change rooms at Vendy Pavilion, developing a concept, procuring quotes, and managing contractors while liaising with stakeholders.

For the Little Athletics Facility in Buninyong, detailed design finalization is needed. Touch Projects will refine the initial plan, manage the design process, and oversee contractor delivery.

Lastly, Touch Projects will handle the detailed design for toilet amenities upgrades at Western Oval, including stakeholder consultations and architect appointments, leading to QS and tender document preparation.

Throughout these projects, Touch Projects will ensure efficient design management, stakeholder engagement, and construction oversight, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
