Ballarat Sport & Recreation Works
Touch Projects was entrusted with the end-to-end management of various minor projects for City of Ballarat sport and recreation facilities. This included design, stakeholder management and construction for all sites.
The Burrumbeet Cricket Club upgrade involved minor improvement works to its training nets, as well as the construction of a modular building to serve as the club’s social space. Touch Projects oversaw detailed design, procured quotes, and managed the construction process.
Touch Projects also oversaw the outdoor gym installation at Doug Dean and Russell Square, which comprised the procurement and installation of fixed outdoor gym equipment at the selected locations within the reserves.
Electronic scoreboards were installed at Mount Clear and Learmonth Recreation Reserves. This project required finalising quote assessments, coordinating contractors, and liaising with stakeholders throughout installation.
The changeroom was refurbished within the Vendy Pavilion at North Ballarat Number 2 Oval. Touch Projects developed a concept within the allocated budget, sourced quotes, and managed the contractor through delivery, whilst liaising with stakeholders.
Detailed design for the Little Athletics facility in Buninyong required finalisation. For this, Touch Projects reviewed the initial concept, initiated design finalisation and managed the contractor during delivery.
Finally, Touch Projects also oversaw the detailed design for the upgrade of toilet amenities at Western Oval by consulting with stakeholders and appointing an architect. The detailed design then allowed for the preparation of tender documents.
Throughout all the projects, Touch Projects ensured the effective management of design, stakeholders and construction, resulting in the successful completion of all project works within the specified budget and timeline.
